Joshua Leonard ("Elliot") - Writer/Director/Editor

Filmmaker/writer/actor, Joshua Leonard first came onto the scene in 1999 with the lo-fi sensation THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. His directorial debut, THE YOUTH IN US premiered at Sundance in '05. Award-winning art doc, BEAUTIFUL LOSERS followed in ‘09. He then made his narrative feature debut as director, writer and star with THE LIE (Sundance ’11). Recently, he completed his sophomore feature as director and co-writer with BEHOLD MY HEART, which stars Marisa Tomei, Mireille Enos and Timothy Olyphant. In 2017, Leonard also developed a one-hour TV series with acclaimed director, Cary Fukunaga for EPIX.

As an actor, Leonard continues to work on projects that push the envelope, most recently starring in Steven Soderbergh’s latest film, UNSANE. He received rave reviews for his performance in Lynn Shelton’s Independent Spirit Award-winning HUMPDAY and co-starred opposite Chloe Grace Moretz in Warner Bros’ IF I STAY. Leonard can also frequently be seen on television in shows like HBO’s True Detective and Togetherness and A&E’s Bates Motel.

Leonard has directed music videos for popular acts such as Fitz and the Tantrums, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Harper Simon and Morcheeba, as well as teaching directing, writing and acting at The New York Film Academy, UC Irvine & Santa Barbara and Academia Internacional De Cinema in Sao Paolo, Brazil. He began his career working with documentarians and experimental filmmakers at Mystic Fire Video, where he worked on films with subjects ranging from famed beat poet Alan Ginsburg, the Dalai Lama and comparative mythologist Joseph Campbell.

Jess Weixler ("Jackie") - Writer/Associate Producer

Jess Weixler ​starred in THE LIE with Joshua Leonard (Sundance 2011). Some of her other work includes TEETH (Sundance 2007 where she was awarded the Special Jury Prize for Acting), THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ELEANOR RIGBY:THEM & HER/HIM, starring alongside James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain and Viola Davis (Cannes International Film festival 2014). THE FACE OF LOVE opposite Annette Bening, Ed Harris, and Robin Williams (TIFF 2013). WHO WE ARE NOW opposite Julianne Nicholson (TIFF in 2017), FREE SAMPLES with Jesse Eisenberg (Tribeca 2012), SOMEBODY UP THERE LIKES ME with Nick Offerman and Keith Paulson (SXSW 2012 audience award, Locarno Special Jury Prize),ALEXANDER THE LAST with Amy Seimetz (IFC 2009), LAMB (SXSW 2015), SISTER CITIES opposite Jackie Weaver(2016). Tom Bower ("Richard")

Tom Bower, ​like a lot of lonely children used to vicariously live out the lives of the characters he would see in the movies. He was an independently sufficient young boy, selling newspapers on the downtown corners of Denver, Colorado, from the timehe was 9 years old. His passion as a young boy was playing sports and going to movies. His family moved often due toe conomic changes, so Tom attended many grade schools and didn’t have time to make permanent friends, but he was readily accepted for his athletic abilities. He replaced the lack of steady friends with the imaginary ones he conjured up from the movies he so frequently attended. Tom graduated from newspaper corners to ushering at the big movie palaces of Denver. His romance with movie characters continued right up to the time he became a professional actor. All of his friends today are the people he has worked with and some who he had played ball with as an adult. He’s been happily married for 48 years to his wife Ursula, who supported them in the early days of his movie career. He has 170+ film credits including ELCAMINO: A BREAKING BAD MOVIE (2019), OUT OF THE FURNACE (2013), and DIE HARD 2 (1990).

Beth Grant ("Tipper")

Beth Grant ​has co-starred in three Academy Award winning Best Pictures: THE ARTIST, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and RAIN MAN, twice receiving the Screen Actors Guild Ensemble Award for LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE and NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. She also voiced the Academy Award winning Best Animated Feature, RANGO. Outside of FULLY REALIZED HUMANS, Grant has a few more upcoming credits including co-stars with Sienna Miller and Diego Luna in Tara Miele’s Sundance thriller WANDER DARKLY; with Andy Garcia, Molly Parker and Walton Goggins in WORDS ONBATHROOM WALLS; and with Nicolas Cage in WILLY’S WONDERLAND. Her over 250 credits, include popular films like SPEED and DONNIE DARKO; award winning stage performances in plays by major writers like Horton Foote and May aAngelo; television favorites like FRIENDS, X-FILES, MODERN FAMILY, CRIMINAL MINDS; and recently she was the outrageous but lovable “Beverly” on THE MINDY PROJECT for six years on FOX and HULU.

Michael Chieffo ("Bob")

Michael Chieffo -​ A native New Yorker, Chieffo studied acting at The Juilliard School. With over a hundred credits, film roles include: BATTLE OF THE SEXES, LIVE BY NIGHT, ARGO, UNREAL ESTATE, BEGINNERS, and L.A. CONFIDENTIAL. On Television: BETTER CALL SAUL, THE ROOKIE, CASTLE, THE CLOSER, CRIMINAL MINDS, CSI, MAD MEN, and THEX-FILES. Favorite roles include playing the great Art Carney opposite Brad Garrett’s Jackie Gleason in the CBS movie GLEASON and playing Dave Madden/Reuben Kincaid in COME ON GET HAPPY, THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY STORY. Chieffo was one of two recipients of The Juilliard School’s President’s Medal in 2018, sharing this great honor with composer John Williams. Michael also received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble in ARGO. As a fine artist his workcan be seen in the set decorating of FULLY REALIZED HUMANS and on his website ​

Janicza Bravo ("Mare")

Janicza Bravo​ is based in Los Angeles. She writes and directs but mostly directs (sometimes acts). Her film work has screened at festivals. Her TV work has played on cable and streaming. She hopes to one day go back to the theatre. And also make more visits to the beach. She rents and does not own. And drives a car she won in a sweepstakes. Her most notable directing credits include GREGORY GO BOOM (Sundance 2014, Short film Jury Winner), LEMON (Sundance +SXSW ‘17), and most recently ZOLA (Sundance 2020).

Ross Partridge ("Barry")

Ross Partridge ​wrote, directed, and starred in the award-winning film LAMB, one of Variety's "Breakout Films" of the 2016 SXSW Film Festival. LAMB won the Independent Spirit Piaget Producers Award, Independent Visions Best Film Award at Sarasota Film Festival, Best Film at Hell's Half Mile, and the Ultra Indie Best Film Award at Woodstock Film Festival. He is the co-executive producer of and has written and directed numerous episodes of the Duplass Brother's ROOM 104 on HBO. As an actor he has been seen in THE OFF HOURS, THE FREEBIE, and BAGHEAD (all Sundance premieres), as well as the award-winning THE MIDNIGHT SWIM, SECRET IN THEIR EYES, and will appear in the upcoming Nisha Ganatra film COVERS with Tracey Ellis Ross and Ice Cube. TV shows include HOW TO MAKE IT IN AMERICA, BILLIONS, BALLERS, INSECURE as well as Lonnie on STRANGER THINGS.

Jennifer Lafleur ("Beatrice")

Jennifer Lafleur ​is an actor and producer most recently seen on the television shows CASTLE ROCK, THE GOOD DOCTOR, ROOM 104, FRIENDS FROM COLLEGE, BIG LITTLE LIES, AMERICAN CRIME, BILLIONS, CHICAGO FIRE,and WORKAHOLICS. She has worked prolifically in the independent film scene, receiving critical acclaim and festival awards for her work in the films MAD, NO LIGHT AND NO LAND ANYWHERE, 6 DYNAMIC LAWS, BACK AT THE STAIRCASE and Sarah Adina Smith's THE MIDNIGHT SWIM. She can also be seen in the Independent Spirit Producer's Award-winning film she co-produced called LAMB, directed by Ross Partridge. She co-created the series WEDLOCK with Ross Partridge and starred alongside Mark Duplass and Rob Corddry. A frequent collaborator of the Duplass Brothers, she was one of the leads of THE DO-DECA-PENTATHLON, and was in their films BAGHEAD and JEFF WHO LIVES AT HOME. She has also been seen in FX's MARRIED, Comedy Central's REVIEW, TNT's MAJOR CRIMES, Adult Swim's CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL, NEWSREADERS and YOU’RE WHOLE as well as the HBO animated series ANIMALS.

Erica Chidi Cohen​ ("Maya")

Erica Chidi Cohen​ is the CEO of LOOM, a well being brand closing the reproductive and sexual health knowledge gap for women through empowered content. She is passionate about helping people cultivate body literacy and giving them the tools to advocate for their health and well being. Through her book, “Nurture: A Modern Guide to Pregnancy, Birth and Early Motherhood”, and her work as both a doula and health educator, she has guided thousands of people in their transition from pregnancy to parenthood. Beyond womxn's healthcare, Erica works to educate on pleasure, relationships, vulnerability, and self-care by providing a modern, inclusive and shame-free perspective. Erica began her practice in San Francisco, volunteering as a doula within the prison system, working with pregnant inmates. She took her passion for women’s health and went on to build a successful health education practice in Los Angeles, while continuing to work with organizations that serve marginalized communities. She has been featured in Women’s Health, Vogue, Goop, The Cut and Marie Claire.

Zach Shields ("Zach")

Zach Shields​ is a writer, director, producer, and musician who lives in Los Angeles. Born in Rochester, New York, Shields studied film and theater at the University of Toronto before moving to LA in 2007. Shields' creative resume includes co-fronting two bands, Dead Man's Bones and Night Things, as well as co-writing two feature films, 2015's KRAMPUS and last year's GODZILLA: KING OF MONSTERS. Lately, he has kept busy developing his own projects, directing music videos, and contributing score pieces for Alma Harel’s film HONEY BOY.

Chelsea Bo​ - Producer

Chelsea Bo​ is a story consultant, editor, and producer on FULLY REALIZED HUMANS. When Chelsea isn’t producing or editing for other creatives, she’s busy directing commercials, music videos, short films and documentaries. With a script supervisor as a mom and a 1st AD as a dad, Chelsea found her home away from home on set. At age 12 she started studying comedy improv at Second City and then went on to study sketch comedy at The Groundlings, working her way upthrough the Writing Lab. Throughout her youth, she developed a strong theatre and performance background that she carried with her through her studies at Loyola Marymount University. There she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film and Television Production with a minor in Theatre Arts and Film Studies. Shortly after graduating college, Chelsea co-founded theproduction company PAXEROS with her husband Sean Drummond. Chelsea has directed award-winning content for clients such as Frito-Lay, GE, and ARRI. Other clients include Costco, Aleve, and National Geographic. After being accepted into Film Independent’s Incubator Lab, she wrote, directed, and starred in a 6-part web series THE CAV KID (featuring Nick Robinson, Aisha Dee, and Haley Ramm). She was then accepted into Village Roadshow Pictures’ Emerging Talent Lab to develop her feature film directorial debut DAMAGE CONTROL, which is slated to begin principal photography in summer 2020.

Sean Drummond​ - Producer

Sean Drummond​ i​s a producer and post production supervisor on FULLY REALIZED HUMANS. Growing up in Minnesota, his filmmaking career began early when he won a Regional EMMY for a PSA he directed in High School and then won an Emerging Filmmaker Award from the Minnesota Historical Society for a documentary he directed and produced. He moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to attend Loyola Marymount University for Film & Television Production. Throughout school, he collaborated with writer/director and future wife, Chelsea Bo. Upon graduation they co-founded the production company PAXEROS. As CEO and Executive Producer at PAXEROS, Sean has produced 50+ commercials, branded content, music videos, and short doc. ​After being accepted into Film Independent’s Incubator Lab, Sean produced the 6-part web series THE CAV KID (featuring Nick Robinson, Aisha Dee, and Haley Ramm). Sean was then accepted into Village Roadshow Pictures’ Emerging Talent Lab with Chelsea Bo to develop her feature film directorial debut DAMAGE CONTROL, which is slated to begin principal photography in summer 2020. Sean’s other feature producing credits include ​Nate Townsend’sdocumentary WAKE UP and Joshua Leonard’s film FULLY REALIZED HUMANS.

Madison McGaughy​ - Sound Mixer
Madison McGaughy​ is the production sound mixer on FULLY REALIZED HUMANS. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television Production from USC School of Cinematic Arts, where she studied all aspects of filmmaking with an emphasis in sound. Her experience has taken her across the globe, working on projects of all types and sizes, including features, documentaries, television, web content and advertisements. Her most notable projects are SCOTCH A GOLDEN DREAM, WAKE UP, and POETRY IN AMERICA: FINISHING THE HAT.
Vivian Miranda - Co-Producer

Vivian Miranda​ is a co-producer on FULLY REALIZED HUMANS. She is an LA-based writer, director, producer from Tijuana, Mexico. While at LMU film school, she was the only student whose junior and senior films were both nominated for back-to-back ‘Best Picture’ awards at LMU’s annual Film Outside the Frame Student Awards. THE CLASSROOM (2014) and won ‘Best Picture’, ‘Student Choice’, and ‘Best Produced Screenplay’. For her work on THE CLASSROOM, Vivian was recognized as a finalist in the Women’s Category for the 2014 DGA Student Awards, and as a finalist for the first ever Horizon Awards in 2015. More recently, Vivian was named a NALIP Media Market Fellow (2017), and a fellow for"Tomorrow's Filmmakers Today” (2019), partnered with HBO and the Hola Mexico Film Festival.

Jamie Hardt - Sound Designer

Jamie Hardt​ is the sound designer and re-recording mixer on FULLY REALIZED HUMANS. After graduating from USC, Jamie began his career in 2000 as an apprentice to veteran sound designer Stephen Hunter Flick, where he assisted on numerous films including THE ALAMO, FANTASTIC FOUR, and SPIDER MAN 3. As a sound effects editor at Sony Pictures, Jamie collaborated on dozens of studio projects, most notably on Rolland Emmerich’s 2012, MEN IN BLACK 3 and the Academy-Award winning ZERO DARK THIRTY. ​Since 2015, Jamie has worked independently as a sound designer andre-recording mixer in Los Angeles; some of his most recent credits include DETROIT, INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY, TRUTH OR DARE and FANTASY ISLAND for producer Jason Blum.

Oliver Johnson - Production Designer

Oliver Johnson​ is the production designer of FULLY REALIZED HUMANS. He is a director and production designer who began his career on the set of BREAKING BAD, and making short films of his own. Oliver has since worked in the Art Department on projects for Nike, Target, Super Deluxe, Buzzfeed, and music videos for artists such as Green Day and Iggy Azalea. His latest Production Design credits include Houston Worldfest’s 2019 Best Picture winner, EVERGREEN.

Dan Pfau - Co-Producer

Dan Pfau​ is a co-producer on FULLY REALIZED HUMANS. Dan is an actor, writer, director who was born in New York and raised in Princeton, New Jersey. He holds a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he trained at David Mamet and William H. Macy’s Atlantic Theater Company. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Dan currently resides in Los Angeles.

Ben Kasulke - Director of Photography

Benjamin Kasulke​ is the director of photography on FULLY REALIZED HUMANS. He is an award winning Director and Director of Photography based in Los Angeles and New York. In 2006, Ben received the Kodak Vision Award for his cinematography on Lynn Shelton's WE GO WAY BACK from the Slamdance Film Festival. Ben lensed the Sundance Special Jury Prize winning HUMPDAY which won the John Cassavetes Award at the 2010 Independent Spirit Awards. After his nomination for an Independent Spirit Award for his work on Megan Griffiths' THE OFF HOURS in 2012, Variety Magazine listed Kasulke among it’s 10 Cinematographers To Watch. Ben’s television credits include the series THE HEART SHEHOLLER (Adult Swim), REVIEW (Comedy Central), MARRIED (FX), THERE’S JOHNNY (Hulu), RED OAKS (Amazon Studios), and MOPZ (Adult Swim). Ben Kasulke's feature film credits include SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED, YOUR SISTER’S SISTER, SEANCES, LAGGIES, TOUCHY FEELY, and THE FORBIDDEN ROOM. Kasulke's work has screened at multiple film festivals including Toronto, Berlin, Sundance, and Cannes Film Festival Directors Fortnight. His feature filmwork has been released by A24, IFC Films, Magnolia Pictures, Film District, and The Criterion Collection. BANANA SPLIT is Ben Kasulke’s feature directorial debut, it will be released this fall by Vertical Entertainment.

Shaheen Seth - Additional Photography

Shaheen Seth​ is a co-producer, animator, b-cam operator, and provides additional photography on FULLY REALIZE DHUMANS. He’s the godfather of this film. His cinematography work includes THE MIDNIGHT SWIM, BUSTER’S MALHEART (Tribeca ‘17 & TIFF ‘17, starring Oscar winner Rami Malek) and KING KNIGHT as well as the forthcoming, Amazon Original, BIRDS OF PARADISE.

Peter Raeburn​ & ​Luke Fabia​​ - composers

Peter Raeburn​ & ​Luke Fabia​​ are the composers on FULLY REALIZED HUMANS. They’re both composers ​at Soundtree​ Music, founded by Peter Raeburn in 1997.​ Soundtree is an award-winning team of uniquely talented composers, producers, musicians, music supervisors and thinkers specializing in the relationship between music and picture for all forms of media.​Their credits include UNDER THE SKIN, SEXY BEAST, BLUE VALENTINE, and Joshua Leonard’s last two directorial films THE LIE and DARK WAS THE NIGHT.

Dan Karcher - Web Producer

Dan Karcher is best known as the creator and developer of the website for THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT ( when the franchise was purchased from Haxan Films by Artisan Entertainment (now owned by Lions Gate Entertainment) of which he awarded "Best Media Campaign, Ever" by Forbes Magazine and was covered by Rolling Stone Magazine as the highest rated motion picture website in history. Since then, Karcher has developed media campaigns for dozens of films, including Joshua Leonard's THE LIE and films such as THE LOVELY BONES, ELIZABETH THE GOLDEN AGE, THE VILLAGE and SIX FEET UNDER. He has since also developed independent films as producer and executive producer for SOUTHBOUNDERS, FALL TO ME, AMERICAN HOUSE and is Producer/Director of BBC America's A BOUNDLESS LOVE, a documentary on the Amish Culture.
